The workshop

About RaceMaster

We build timepieces the way a wheel is built: from a billet, to a profile, to something that has to survive load. The workshop came first — the design language followed.

RaceMaster is a small team. Machining, finishing and final regulation happen on our own benches, which is why we can tell you exactly which hands touched the watch you are wearing. We would rather make a hundred pieces properly than ten thousand quickly.

Everything below is the same specification we put on the bench every morning.

01

Forged case geometry

Every case starts as a single billet, CNC-machined to a wheel-derived profile and finished by hand.

02

Regulated in five positions

Automatic calibres are adjusted and timed in five positions on the bench before they meet a dial.

03

Sapphire front and back

Double-domed anti-reflective crystal on both sides, so the movement remains part of the design.

04

Numbered small runs

References are produced in limited batches and individually numbered on the caseback.

How we got here

2016. RaceMaster begins as a two-person CNC workshop cutting wheel components for a touring-car team in central Texas.

2018. The wheel-centre profile is scaled into a 41 mm case. Twenty pieces are made; nineteen sell to people in the paddock.

2021. A dedicated bench is set up so every movement is regulated and timed in five positions before it is cased.

2023. A double-domed sapphire caseback replaces the solid steel one, so the regulated movement remains visible.
